Free Schema Markup Generator

Create valid JSON-LD structured data for FAQs, local businesses, organizations and articles without writing code. Fill in a short form, copy the generated script and paste it into your page, so search engines and AI tools understand who you are and what each page is about.

How to use the Schema Markup Generator

  1. Choose the schema type at the top: FAQ, Local Business, Organization or Article.
  2. Fill in the fields. The code updates as you type.
  3. For FAQs, add as many questions as your page actually shows, and remove any you do not need.
  4. Press "Copy code" and paste the script into your page. In WordPress, use a Custom HTML block, your SEO plugin’s schema settings or a header code plugin.
  5. Test the page with Google’s Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator before you publish.

Which schema type should you use?

  • Organization: once, on the home page or About page, with links to your official social profiles so search engines connect your brand.
  • Local Business: on the main page for each physical location, with the exact address, phone and opening hours shown on your Google Business Profile.
  • Article: on blog posts and guides, with a real author name and date.
  • FAQ: on pages that show a visible list of questions and answers. Only mark up questions that people can actually read on the page.

Why structured data still matters

Schema does not push a weak page up the rankings by itself. What it does is remove guesswork: it tells search engines and AI systems the facts about your business and your content in a format they read reliably. That helps Google match your business to local searches, show correct details in knowledge panels, and lets AI answers pick up accurate names, addresses and author information. Since 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results mostly for government and health sites, but FAQ markup still helps machines understand your content.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I paste the JSON-LD code?

Anywhere in the page HTML. In WordPress, a Custom HTML block at the end of the content works, or use your SEO plugin’s schema settings.

Can I use more than one schema type on a page?

Yes. A service page can carry LocalBusiness and FAQ markup together, as long as each describes content on that page.

Will schema get me stars in Google?

Review stars need genuine reviews on the page and are restricted for businesses reviewing themselves. This tool does not create review markup for that reason.
